The map in Rules of Survival is too big to be explored completely. Howmuch useful info we can get from the map? Let me show you.
First, let us checkthe resource distribution. Those areas marked with red box are places withmassive supplies, while yellow means just average. As you can see, thoselocations with a name have massive resource, which means there will be toughfight in these areas. It is quite complex to figure out the way to red areas toarm yourself while avoid those main battle zones according to the route of theshuttle plane. Besides the resource distribution, I will talk about the terraininfo of the map. The map in the game does not have altitude info. Please noticethat the altitude goes down with the color sequence: brown, yellow, green, white and blue. Brown is high hill. White is sea level. Blue is deep water. Whyis terrain so important? Because in this game, you can take huge advantage ofterrain.

I made a simplesketch map with arrows indicating altitude. As you can see, the terrain is verycomplex. The elevation difference is huge. You can avoid those dangerous zonesif you know the terrain here. Use the lowlands, slope and canyon to avoid theattack from out of your vision. When you see there is player with long shotrange, you can find a slope to hide from his vision if you are familiar withthe terrain. Then you can choose either fight back or get away from him. One ofthe main reasons for your continuous losing is wandering blindly.
Here is a sketchmap with vertical arrows indicating elevation. High elevation means wide visionor ideal blind zone. The up red arrows mean elevation increasing, which meansplayers can get good vision in this place. The down blue arrows mean elevationdecreasing, which means players can hide in big blind zone in this place.Players should make balance between those high and low places to avoid otherplayers’ sight.
Resources hot indication within the samepicture. The bigger the red arrow is, the more supplies you can get from thoselocations, the more chances for other players to go there. Risks come alongwith benefits. How to make choices is another major factor leads to lose orwin. Here is all for the map. Make the terrain always be your friend.
